Valentine’s Day is My New Favorite Holiday
I have decided that I think Valentine’s Day ought to be bigger than it is. No, I don’t work for Hallmark or Future Florists of America or even Theo Chocolates.

I LOVE it (couldn't resist!)! So wonderful to hear of this – your expansion of a celebration!
I tossed hershey kisses into everyone's lunches this morning 🙂
Love.
So very well said. It should be about love period. I think for many the day carries unnecessary baggage when really it should be as you said. A day of giving without concern of receiving. Love is meant to be shared.
Love.
i love this perspective. i was at the stage of "Vday is so commercialized, etc etc" but i like the spin you put on it.
plus, i learned that St. Valentine is the patron saint of epilepsy… something very important to our family…. so, who knew? you get 2 cool things to "honor" on Vday for the price of one! 🙂
What a beautiful post. Love to all.
Dear Kari,
You seem truly to be moving deeper and deeper into the Oneness of gratitude. What a force for good you are in our world.
Peace.
Ahhhhh… you made me cry! Just can't go wrong with love. All I'm sayin'.
love.
love.
and more love.
When I was growing up, each year on Valentine's Day we would come downstairs to find a Valentine card at each of our places from our mother. I thought that was how it was for everyone. Not so!
I've decided that next Valentine's Day, I am going to revive this most delicious of traditions and send my heartfelt sentiments to ALL the people I love. (Gosh, I'd better get started!)
Thank you for the inspirational post!
In Joy,
